HB Auto Sound

Justin and Jason hooked me up with an upgraded system on my Tacoma. I am very pleased with the performance. Plus, Jason let me borrow an e-bike while they were working on my truck. Great job.

I recently visited HB Auto Sound in Huntington Beach to purchase a backup camera and new stereo system for my van. After discussing the project, I was required to leave a $100 deposit to order parts and was given a firm appointment for installation, with the promise that the work would be completed around 1 PM today. I dropped off my vehicle promptly at opening (9 AM) and returned at noon to check progress—only to learn that no work had even started on my van. With less than an hour left until the promised completion time, it was obvious the job couldn't possibly be finished as agreed. I politely explained that I needed to cancel and requested a full refund of my deposit, as they had not honored their end of the commitment. Instead, I was offered only $40 back, with the explanation that they had already ordered parts and that delays were due to other jobs running long—not their fault, according to them. I took the partial refund and left, but this left a very bad taste. If I had simply changed my mind without any issues on their side, I would understand them retaining some or all of the deposit to cover ordered parts or opportunity cost. However, they failed to deliver on the cl

Dropped in inquiring about car stereo installation. The owner, I assume he was the owner was rude and unpleasant. He did not answer my questions properly either. I left and took my business to another local shop where the owner was pleasant and had a good attitude.

Jayson compromised so many functions of the electrical system in my vehicle it's astonishing. Over 2 months of taking ubers back and forth to fix the work they could not come close to completing properly I am done with Jayson and HB auto sound. It has become apparent (and confirmed by other car audio instalation shops in the area) that they lack the knowledge and expertise to work on my Volvo V90. Jayson blames it solely on the Volvo manufacturer and their electrical systems instead of his own incompetence. Jayson did not warn me of these issues before I purchased an expensive system which was sold to me as one that would "sound better than the Bowers and Wilkins system my v90 was lacking." What was advertised and purchased was not anywhere close to what I received. I was told this system would be installed the same day which was the reason I decided to pull the trigger and go with them, it was not. They told me it could be done that day I decided to go with them, I have been forced to return to the shop almost a dozen times now. This experience has left me frustrated, disgusted and concerned for the wellbeing of my vehicle. I would never leave Jayson alone with my vehicle again

HB AutoSound figured it out. The old-school art of having outstanding customer service, and then backing up your words with actions. Jason and his team made my visit a pleasure, and made me feel like I was a priority every time I walked through the door. I originally stopped in to price out a new sound system, I ended up making a purchase at Best Buy, thinking I was getting a good deal. Well what I really received, was an incompetent installation and a bunch of headaches. I walked back in to HB Auto Sound, slightly embarrassed, and asked Jason if he could help me fix all of the problems that occurred from my Best Buy installation. Summarizing this as best as I can, Jason and his team were cordial and eager to help. Even though I didn’t make my original purchase at the store, the team made me feel as though I was a VIP customer. In addition to the great customer service, Jason also gave me a great deal. Just can’t say enough about this place. As a follow-up, I was confused as to how some of the functions on my new Kenwood system worked, so I stopped by right before closing, and Jason came out, sat in the car, and gave me a tutorial. All I can say, is that if you ever plan on replaci
